今天我们在这里举行会议是为了迎接XX年的第一场战役，也就是第一次质检，当然，我们的最终目的是迎接高考。现在，英语学习进入了一个非常关键的阶段，也是一个瓶颈阶段。不少高三学生虽然努力学习英语，但仍然没有明显的进步，有时会感到力不从心，手足无措。其实最主要的原因可能在于学习方法上出现了一些问题。在这里我给大家提几点建议供大家参考。
一、制定计划。要想学好一门语言，首先要一个切实可行的计划，用以指导自己的学习，古人说得好“凡事预则立，不预则废。”做事有计划就不会打乱仗，也不会感到盲从。
二、专心听课。课堂是获取知识的主要来源，上课是学生进解和掌握基础的基本技能并在此基础上发展认知能力的一个关键环节，这就要求同学们始终保持高度集中的注意力，力争在课内就把一节课的内容记住，当堂消化。
三、及时复习。知识贵在落实，课后及时复习能加深和巩固对新知识理解和记忆，系统在掌握新知识以达到灵活运用，即知识迁移的目的。
四、掌握正确的记忆方法。英语是一门记忆很强的学科，要大量积累词汇。很多同学最烦记单词，总是抱怨记不住，以致于丧失了信心。这是因为你没有了解到记忆的规律，没有掌握记单词的技巧。现在我给大家介绍几种方法。
1、及时记忆法，要求上课时认真听讲，争取趁热打铁，当堂记住。
2、联想记忆法，如bridegroom和bride。有room的是新郎
3、分类记忆法，把单词分门别类，如动物、植物类。
4、感官记忆法也叫运动记忆法。尽可能发用多种感官，耳听、口读、
手写、眼看、心记等。
5、构词记忆法，通过分析词根、前缀、后缀、派生和合成等记忆单词。
6、情景记忆法，把某个单词放在一个句子或者一段话中去记忆。
7、比较记忆法，反义词、同义词、同音词。
8、拼读记忆法，读准单词的发音是记住单词的前提，拼读记忆首先要
求把单词读准确，充分认识单词的读音与拼写之间的关系。如enthusiastic
9、循环记忆法，任何先进的单词记忆法都必须进行反复记忆。学了可能会遗忘，为了防止遗忘，一定要不断发进行阶段性复习。可以把单词和重点句子写在长片上放在口袋里或贴在桌子上、放在枕头连随时记忆。有些单词不是你记不住，而是你重复的次数不够多。
五、培养良好的语感。什么是语感？语感具有一听就清，一说就顺，一写就通，一读就懂的功能。那幺，怎样培养语感呢？
1、从听力训练开始，在听力方面，一是听课文录音带，去感知模仿形成正确的`语音、语调，二是听英语广播、电视节目及原声电影等，三是认真对待我们平时的听力训练，要沉着、冷静、细心，抓关键词，瞄准下一个句子和题目。
2、朗读、背诵是培养语感的捷径。主要是多读课文及听力教材，要将一个单词读准，一个句子读顺，一篇文章读烂，平时朝读时要最大声、最快速、最清晰地读。通过诵读，同学们可对文章的语意、语法、语气、语调、节奏、重音了然于心。
3、要进行广泛阅读。阅读是吸收语言材料的最好途径，实践证明，学生阅读面越宽，语言实践越大，阅读理解能力便越强。只有通过读，才能够获得最大的实践量，才能享受到学习外语的真正甜头和学习的乐趣。阅读的数量多了，一些常用词汇、句式结构自然在脑子中形成了印象，也就逐渐形成了语感。现在我们每天至少应阅读一两篇文章。
4、多积累多写作是培养语感的必经之路。在平时写日记、周记，考试时尽量使用通过积累的高级词汇和句型，这样才能有效地提高写作水平。
六、要注重课本，排查要点，各个击破。这几年高考中都有课文中的原句子，同学们要善于发现隐藏在课文中的命题胚胎。
七、要持之以恒，孜孜不倦。俗话说“一日学，一日功”，“一日不学，十日空”。也就是要讲究一个“勤”字，做到天天读，天天背，天天练，天天总结，养成一种好习惯，这样你就离成功不远了。
八、要提高自己的应试素质，把平时的考试当作高考，把高考当作平时的考试。
九、相信自己，强烈的自信心和必胜的信念是我们最大限度地发挥水平的致胜法宝。我们每个人身上都有巨大的潜力有待开发，一定要珍惜时光，找准人生的奋斗目标，不断努力，最大限度开发你的潜力，你是最优秀的。

My experience in English learning initiated quite passively, but before long my interest in it began to inspire me to continue the process. To testify my English skills and to stir up even greater enthusiasm, I used to participate in various kinds of competitions.
When I was preparing for a nation-wide English competition in high school, I got to know the “21st Century Cup” English speaking competition for the first time as I used their scripts as my preparing materials. I envied those contestants in the “21st Century Cup” very much. Their English skills and their quick response made me feel swooning. Although I did not get a good rank in the nation wide competition for high school students, I had begun my wildest dream of participating in the 21st Century Cup. Even after I became an engineering student I still held onto my dream, that it would come true some day. Because I can always find something new to challenge me, and set up those challenges as my goals to achieve, I never find English learning a dull job. I believe I will forever cherish the glorious moment when I was on the stage of the “21st Century-Ericsson Cup” 7th national English speaking competition, and my wonderful memories there without any doubt will add passion to my English learning in the days to come.

It is an active skill, and requires the student to put words together into sentences without much time to prepare, and with no time for correction, yet it is the most exciting skill to have, as it opens up wonderful channels of communication with people of others cultures and countries. But this is just what we lack.
More often than not I found some of the students who get high marks in their exams showed an inability to communicate with people in English. And this enabled me to understand deeper what my first English teacher has always emphasized: listening and speaking keeping ahead; reading and writing following up. I believe this is the rule of learning a language because we learn a certain language to communicate. As we conquered the most difficult parts: listening and speaking, we would easily master the writing and reading skills.

But to my great surprise, my teacher praised me for my pronunciation. And I did not realize that this little prize given by my teacher began to influence my English learning magically.

Three mirrors reflect the way I learn English After I came back from the “21st century-Ericsson cup”7th national English Speaking competition with the award of the “Most Promising Speaker”, people kept asking me the same question over and over again. “How did you learn English, especially as a Non-English major?” Actually I believe that a hundred people would have a hundred of ways to learn English well. However, I would like to share my personal experience of English learning with those who have the enthusiasm for improve their English. Since I have set up three mirrors in my prepared speech in hoping that they would guide our young generation on the way to globalization, I would like to maintain three mirrors here to reflect how I learned English.
The first mirror, I assume, should reflect a steady foundation. This involves my first few years of English learning, which I consider as the key factor of all my achievements in the years to follow. At that time I entered the middle school attached to Xi’an Jiaoton University, I could only say my ABCs while others in my class could at least communicate in simple English. All the tales about the frightfulness of learning English then popped up in my mind and made me feel scared. Fortunately my first English teacher was very experienced in enlightening her students on English learning. She was a kind woman with a charming smile. But her homework assignments were not easy task: They required us to read after the tape for 20 times and recite the whole text. So it was quite natural that most of my classmates only recited the short essay within a short time and then went to play. But my fear of not being able to say a single word, made me sit down and immerse myself in what the teacher had asked me to do.

二、学语法是为了让我们更好地了解英语的逻辑，使学英语达到事半功倍的效果。下面来谈谈语法的学习。

The first step is to mix the flour with water. when the dough is ready we can begin to make dumpling wrappers. we use a rolling pole to roll the dough into small thin and round pieces so that they will be easy to cook. when the wrappers are done it' s time to prepare the filling. Usually we use meat such as beef or mutton and some vegetables such as cabbage or carrots for filling.You may actually choose whatever you like to put into it. we must chop those things into small pieces.Then put some salt oil and other condiments into it and stir it evenly. When all these preparations are done we can start making dumplings. First put a spoonful of filling in the center of the wrapper. Then stick the two opposite sides together and then the rest. Don' t just cover the filling with the wrappers. The best shape of dumplings is that of a ship because when they are boiling in the pan they look like ships sailing in the sea. The smell can make your mouth water.

“兴趣是最好的老师”；这句话不知道听了多少遍，但确实也是值得一次又一次强调的道理。也许有同学质疑：“我英语又不好，你让我怎么热爱呢？”，诚然，当你在一门学科上屡屡受挫，你难免会有一种我不擅长这门学科的错觉，就对这门学科越发没了兴趣，投入的热情也随之减少，于是在下一次考试中难免又惨遭厄运。于是你对这门学科的热爱在消极的恶性循环中消逝到苟延残喘。但请回忆起，当你第一次接触到英语这门学科时，当你第一次学会说：“I a fine， thankyou。 and you？ I a fine， too”时，好奇与欣喜洋溢起整个幼嫩的心，热爱从那个时候起油然而生。因此不要怀疑你对英语的热爱，请勿忘初心。你只需给自己一个重拾热爱的机会，给自己一个热情奋斗的机会，给自己一个相信自己能学好英语的信念，结果一定是美好的。

Everything is very lively in the spring. The flowers are blooming, the trees are growing and the grass is turning green. I like lying on the grass and enjoy the sun shine in the park in the spring. We also can fly a kite, have a picnic, go on a trip or climb the mountain, but I don’t like to do those things, because they will make me feel tired. Some people like to go to the countryside, however I don’t think it is a good place to go for a rest. I don’t like the other season, because they are not very warm: summer is too hot, winter is too cold. While autumn is cool, it isn’t very beautiful.
Last year, I went to the Slender West Lake in Yang Zhou. First we took a boat to travel down the lake, we saw the Qiong flowers on the bank, and they were very beautiful. Then we visited the Five Kiosks Bridge, there were five kiosks on the bridge, and every kiosk has a long history. We sit in the kiosk and took some photos. Last we went to the Fishing Platform. Why do people call it ‘Fishing Platform’? Because the emperor called ‘Qian Long’ in Qing Dynasty visited it. We also fished in it. We had a good time in Yang Zhou.
Anyway, my favourite season is spring.

格了，那是第一次期末考试居然排名班级前三名，当时可高兴了。后来我哥，在上初二之前给我买了本课本辅导书，我也知道这是哥哥对我的期待，我好想痴迷了似的，我连续看了好几遍，每一个角落都不落下，现在想来真的要感谢我哥哥。

很好，这是重要的资源，如果有时间的话，建议大家可以去花上一段时间去听听，即使听不懂。你要相信时间的力量，时间积累够了，你一定会取得进步。我记得我上英语课的时候，每一次老师教我们单词，我总会认认真真的看着老师的嘴巴，看她如何发音，可好奇了，有的时候并不会，就在课本上注释，有谁也这样干？嘿嘿，现在我给大家一个建议把音标学会，自己就会发音了。
说完了听的方面，再来谈谈说的方面。依然记得第一次见外教，看着别人与外教交流，可羡慕了，自己什么都不会。现在我就可以与外教交流了，这也是时间的过程。当然你会说，老师我们现在考试不考英语口语，那怎么办？对，这就是我在说这一部分要给大家强调的经常读课文，把课本上的文章反复阅读，能够达到如痴如醉的地步。提到这儿，我不得不再提一下我初中的'时候，那时候有早自习，每天早上我都会和同学一起把课本上的对话反复交换角色来朗读，这也是说的一方面。后来只要是课本上的东西我都很能清晰地记住在脑海中。又一次老师讲到了一句话，问大家在哪儿见过这句话，我就给说出在哪一个单元，那一课，呵呵，当时大家可惊奇了。

Last week I went to Peking University and Tsinghua University where I was invited to deliver lectures on “learning English with passion”. I found out that all those students have something in common; they all have determinations to learn English well . That's thevery reason why I gave lectures at more than ten most prestigious universities with an attempt to help students who want to conquer English within the shortest time.
That’s true, having a good command of English is vitally significant and profound. Here I would like to give all my friends and students some advice for the future learning in terms of the experience I got from being a teacher for many language training schools and being interpreter for government as well as embassies. Being an interpreter is by no means easy, which needs to have a good command of listening, understanding or decoding and speaking. As soon as I hear the original voice from the speaker, meanwhile, I will decode or understand it by dividing the content of the voice into different segments, and use my short-term memory and if possible ,note-taking, to deliver the interpretation in the process of consecutive or simultaneous cases. Now , I would like to tell you how to speak good English.
3-D methods (Dialogue, Discussion and Debate) to improve your eloquence
Dialogue
Having authentic and polished oral English is every learner’s dream, however, many of my students who spent a lot of years, money and efforts to speak this language well but failed to be able to communicate and speak out, the reason to which might be mainly confidence and methods. I notice that many students do well in speaking when conducting a prepared speech or presentation in class. But speaking English fluently is not just about making presentations and giving speeches. It is about expressing your ideas and insight on the most mundane of things around you. I still remember when I first landed on the soil of Beijing 5 years ago; I could not communicate with my friends and even felt uneasy when going out with them because I did not have the confidence to start a conversation with my Mandarin. It’s the same to the English learners who have no courage to start a topic and face an awkward silence after the initial greeting was given because they don't know what to talk about and are not confident of putting something across correctly, thus the conversation comes to end.
The ability to make dialogues is very important in social communication. Topics for casual conversation could include the weather, education, music, current affairs; hobbies, travel, etc. Do not always ask foreigner “what is your name and how is your job” when you want to find one to practice your English with. Before going to English Corner, please read up on your area of interest and try framing sentences expressing your opinions. Talk about it with someone close to you or someone’s English level is higher than yours, so you can check for your language accuracy and fluency.You’d better to grasp regularly used ways of small talk, and you will be able to initiate speaking more confidently. If you can break this barrier and speak out with passion and confidence, you can take your first step into the realm of English speaking and become a public speaker in the future.
Discussion and Debate
I always enlighten my students that your language ability and academic achievements are very imperative and important, but the most important of all, it’s your eloquence to communicate in the personal relationships. Elite may not have eloquence, but an eloquent person must be an elite. So the best way to drill your speaking abilities is to discuss and debate. When I was a junior, I always raised discussions with my classmate in my dorm, questions like “environmental protection, cohabitation, 20xx Olympics, postgraduate exams and so on. After everyone aired his opinions, then we conducted debate to argue, to express ideas to convince the other. And I gradually build up on my own repertoire of conversational topics and start using them whenever I get a chance; subsequently I have good command of English, and won a lot of awards in English speech contest and debate. Hence, it’s also effective for you, my beloved friends or students, to have a try to use your language to discuss and debate.
Other methods
Many students do want to improve their English by all means. It’s self-evident that all of us like taking down notes when we are listening to the lectures given by teachers at school. But it’s not a correct way to speak good language. Can you learn swimming by standing at the edge of the pool and taking down the words spoken by the coach? You have to take the plunge, right? I seldom took notes when I was given lessons, but I would memorize them with my mouth, my mind and my ears. There is just one case I will take notes when I am doing my job as an interpreter for the Beijing municipal government and embassy. I still remember when I was interpreting for the ambassador from the Philippines, at which moment she was delivering the speech about 10 minutes at the Great Wall international conference. Hadn’t I taken the notice from the speaker, I don’t think I would have interpreted for her and won the applause from the officials. It is the same with language. Unless you use the language everyday, you will never know how good you are at it. Ask your friends who are good at English to help. Try to speak it as much as possible, and let them interrupt you whenever you make mistakes and ask them to correct you. Do not feel embarrassed to make mistakes, for that is the only way you will learn. Enjoy losing face and enjoy making mistakes because that is the way how the process of acquiring fluency a language occurs. Everyone may have made a lot of mistakes before getting a good grasp of mother tongue. The only difference now is that you are conscious of the mistakes. So ,do not be afraid of making mistakes.
Attitude that counts the most
If you do want to learn something well, you are supposed to have confidence and passion. I love playing piano , basketball and learning as well as being a teacher, to which I devote my whole interest , confidence and passion no matter how many mistakes I will encounter, how helpless , how hopeless and how far away for me to reach my final goal. I will never stop fighting for the betterment and improvement of myself and to be an all-grounded person equipped with knowledge and clear mindset. And that is why I hope all of you can be confident and passionate for what you have done and what you will be doing.
Finally, I want to say to my students and English lovers. Try to be confident and passionate in the journey of study and life, all you need is a will to learn and the initiative to begin. That done, it is simply a matter of time and effort!

第二步，记忆力：
记忆力的好也可以帮助学习，但是死记硬背的方式实在是套古老了，也太死板了，再好的兴趣也会被消磨光。所以，可以用一种节省时间，增加兴趣，享受时间的方法。在老师留作业，抄单词或句子的时候，先抄一遍，再根据脑袋里"肯定"的`答案在接着继续默写，这样就达到了节省时间着点了。还有在背课文的时候，有些同学们后觉得这些太多了，太难了，简直就是在谋财害命，但老师就是硬要我们被下来，太痛苦了！那么，在这个时候，你可以把被课文当做是在背诗，记歌词，背诗背着背着就顺了，记歌词记着记着就好像是自己在听喜爱的音乐一般，这也有了增加兴趣，享受时间和节省时间了。
第三步，自信：

“兴趣是最好的老师”；这句话不知道听了多少遍，但确实也是值得一次又一次强调的道理。也许有同学质疑：“我英语又不好，你让我怎么热爱呢？”，诚然，当你在一门学科上屡屡受挫，你难免会有一种我不擅长这门学科的错觉，就对这门学科越发没了兴趣，投入的热情也随之减少，于是在下一次考试中难免又惨遭厄运。于是你对这门学科的热爱在消极的恶性循环中消逝到苟延残喘。但请回忆起，当你第一次接触到英语这门学科时，当你第一次学会说：“I a fine， thankyou。 and you？ I a fine， too”时，好奇与欣喜洋溢起整个幼嫩的心，热爱从那个时候起油然而生。因此不要怀疑你对英语的热爱，请勿忘初心。你只需给自己一个重拾热爱的机会，给自己一个热情奋斗的机会，给自己一个相信自己能学好英语的信念，结果一定是美好的。

dumpling is a traditional chinese food. On the lunar new year' s day most families make a lot of delicious dumplings. To make them follow this easy process.
饺子是中国的传统食物。在农历新年，大多数家庭都会包很多美味的饺子。要包成饺子，遵循以下那容易的步骤。
The first step is to mix the flour with water. when the dough is ready we can begin to make dumpling wrappers. we use a rolling pole to roll the dough into small thin and round pieces so that they will be easy to cook. when the wrappers are done it' s time to prepare the filling. Usually we use meat such as beef or mutton and some vegetables such as cabbage or carrots for filling.You may actually choose whatever you like to put into it. we must chop those things into small pieces.Then put some salt oil and other condiments into it and stir it evenly. When all these preparations are done we can start making dumplings. First put a spoonful of filling in the center of the wrapper. Then stick the two opposite sides together and then the rest. Don' t just cover the filling with the wrappers. The best shape of dumplings is that of a ship because when they are boiling in the pan they look like ships sailing in the sea. The smell can make your mouth water.

2、有人说语法是英语学习中最枯燥的`环节，但仔细看看，你会发现同中文有很多相通之处，如句子构成，主谓宾，词的运用，要注意的就是中英文元素排序不同。语法对于分析句子的意思帮助也是非常大的，尤其是超长的句子，有的时候一个句子就有三四行甚至占据整个段落。尝到了甜头，就有了学语法的动力了。
三、英语听力不行，就等于你是英语聋子，生活中最多的还是口语上的交流，你听不懂对方说的话，根本就无法进行交流。所以英语听力也是非常重要的。

四、口语

一、简单原则
学习英语：从简单的开始
运用英语：简单——好、更简单－—更好、最简单－—最好
只有从简单的开始，才容易入门，才容易产生兴趣，才容易把事情进行下去。英语阅读
应遵守简单原则，听、说、写都应从最简单的开始，因为简单原则有巨大的优点：
1、造就成就感，培养自信。
2、增加兴趣。
3、语言朗朗上口。
4、易于学以致用。但是很多中国学生对简单的语言往往不屑一顾，只求理解而不去尝试着使用自己学到的东西。中国学生在学英语中最喜欢追求一个字——难。尽管学了很多难的东西，却不会用。而事实上，简单的东西如能灵活、
准确地使用才是真正重要的。
比如从口语来说，人们并不是看一个人会说多么难的单词，关键在于看他能否熟练运用最简单的单词、句型、语法来表达情感、思想。英语国家人们日常生活的交流是通过有限数量的单词和简单的句型来完成的。
plain english（简洁英语）在英语国家已成为趋势：即在说或写英文时都力求简单。而中国学生尽管学了很多难词，复杂的结构，但就连用简单词和结构来表达思想都做不到；有时用了很大的词，一方面不妥，再者也很难让别人明白。其实当你透彻理解英语中的小词，简单表达方式时，才能熟练地用简单英语交际。
当然这并不是说难的单词和复杂句型一点儿也不能用，或者说没有用，我只是说应该少用或尽量不用。但目前简单英语即是最好英语的潮流是千真万确的。其实你同外国人面对面交流，你就会惊喜的发现，他们讲的英语是那么的简单，你甚至会反问自己学了多年的复杂英语用处何在？
学会容易的东西，并把容易的东西融会贯通地加以运用才是英语学习的关键所在。
二、量的原则
多－—好，更多－—更好，最多－—最好。
中国人学习英文，精读、精听、精说有余，但泛读、泛听远远不够，大量的乱说就更不够了。没有量的变化，怎么能有质的飞跃？因此，中国人学习英语在注重精的同时，必须更加注重泛。比如学习英语阅读，如果没有读到足够的数量，就无法熟练地阅读英语。若要学习听力，那就大量地听各种磁带，听英语广播，看英语电视，看英文电影。如要学习英语口语，那就尽量多说英文。学习英语不能太急于求成，因为只有有了量，才能有质的飞跃。
量的积累是必须的。许多人学习英语时，往往有一种误解，认为一本书就代表一个水平。比如，当读完一本初级阅读书时，就会说我的阅读水平达到初级了，学完一本高级阅读书，便狂欢我达到高级阅读水平了。刚刚读了一本初级口语书，就认为已有初级口语水平。读了一本高级口语书，就认为已有高级口语水平。其实，英语学习有一个点－线－面的关系。一本书只是一个点，无数本书连成一条线，更多的线形成一个面。所谓水平就是面的问题。就拿阅读来说，首先要读
大量初级书。当你读完30本初级读物书后，在你读第31本初级读物时已没有几个生词，能轻松地读懂，并进入作者所描绘的世界时，那你就可以读中级水平的读物了。仅仅读过一本初级水平的读物，基础根本没打好，就急于读一个更高水平的读物，那必然就会欲速则不达，自然不可能学好。也就是说，无论处于何等英语水平，在相应水平上的量的积累是必须的。英语听力、口语、写作的学习亦应遵循这一原则。
语言的学习是培养一种感觉，而感觉要数量的积累来培养。俗话说水到渠成。同样的道理，达到了一定的量，语感就产生了。这时应再把感觉上升到理念，将理念融入到自己的思维中，英语就能运用自如。请注意量的积累在基础阶段最为重要。金字塔的魅力就在于它完美的建筑结构。有宽广深厚的基础，才能造就塔尖的辉煌。学好英文的道理是同样的。基础必须打牢，也只有在基础打牢的前提下，才能学好英文。
三、重复原则
英语有句谚语repitution is the mother of skill（重复是技能之母）。你可以回忆一下你学习任何一种技能的过程。无论是游泳还是骑自行车，都是重复同一类动作的过程。任何技能的获得，当然包括英语这项语言技能，均来自重复。在刚开始学习英语口语时，重复原则就更为重要。记得在天天英语中有个跟读的功能，它就是让你能够不断的跟读、重复，并且将你的声音进行录制，可以在不断重复跟读的过程中找到自己的差距。
等你背诵一些英语后，就要找同伴来练，反复重复已学内容，这个时候你可以在这个天天英语的口语练习平台里找一个同样是联系口语的人一起来练习不断的重复你已经掌握的内容。重复原则与量的原则缺一不可，要有机地把两者统一起来。
四、模仿原则
语言是人们在长时间的实践中形成的认同符号，其运用规则可依。孩子学语言是个模仿的过程，他们每天模仿父母、周围的人、电视等一切可以模仿的东西，并且模仿得越来越象，突然有一天，他们停止模仿了，并且逐渐形成融合自己个性特征的语言方式。
作为英语学习者，必须模仿已有的东西，不经历到位的模仿的创新意味着错误。创新源于模仿，模仿是学习英语的基础，模仿是创新的基础。只有在你通过模仿，真正掌握了英语的灵魂、精髓，然后，才可能谈到自己的语言风格。
学习英语时，模仿原则是必不可少的。比如在学习语音时，要大量地重复练习音标、单词发音，朗读句子和文章。在使用“跟读回音壁”（此功能在天天英语的英语听吧版块）过程中，你可以尽量模仿音标发音和单词发音，同时模仿句子的音调和节奏，通过对比你的模仿录音找到你的不足并不断完善。模仿对学好语音至关重要。模仿得越像越好，这是英语学习最基本的常识。

五、突击原则
若想学好英语，需要采取一个个速战速决策略，找到快速进入角色的感觉。只有这样，才能有足够的动力和兴趣把学习坚持到底。你还记得你是如何学会骑自行车、游泳或开车的吗？你是否是通过短时间的大量突击练习才掌握这些技能的呢？学习技能的要素是一样的，那就是去无数次的突击训练。当然，学英语或许不像学会骑自行车、游泳那么简单，但驾驭和使用英语语言的确是掌握和培养一种技能。学习一种技能，突击原则是最重要的。
我在学习英语时就运用了这种突击强化的方法。我最初开始学习英语，先突击英语阅读三个月。从简易读物开始，坚持天天最大量地来读。通过突击英语阅读，不但学到了词汇，还熟悉了各种语法现象，更了解了一些西方的生活、文化和思想。紧接着，又去强化听力，经过三个月的听力突击之后，再回过头强化英语阅读。强化完阅读后，再强化听力。强化完听力后，再强化英语口语。按
照这个原则，进行阅读－听力－口语－写作的突击强化。按照这种方法来学英语，进步是飞快的。在这期间天天英语给了我很大的帮助，听经典句型、跟读、重复录音、直接找好友练习口语。你这样反复突击五到六次，你的语音定将成为最棒的。句型、阅读、语法、听力、口语也都要有这样一种反复突击强化的过程。
一个人的精力不可能总是充沛的，重复做同一件事情就会变得单调，因此就要采取间隔
突击强化的方法。英语学习的过程应该是由一个个强化突击阶段所组成的。
六、兴趣原则
兴趣是最好的老师，学习英语首先要有兴趣并努力发展这一兴趣。如果你对英语没有兴趣，那就不会有持续的干劲和动力，英语学习将很难坚持下去。反之，一旦你对英语有了兴趣并努力地发展这一兴，那么，你就会不知不觉地去做，带着强烈的欲望去读英语，听英语，说英语，写英语。你就会主动地找人去练英语，找一切可以提高你英语的机会去提高你的英语水平。不知不觉中你的英语就会提高。不知不觉中你就把英语学会了。在你实在是没有兴趣的时候，要有意识、有步骤地去培养和发展自己对英语的兴趣。你可以借助一些学习工具和学习平台来提高你对英语的兴趣，比如我强烈推荐联通116114旗下的天天英语，它能在最初提升你学习英语的兴趣，这对你的英语学习有举足轻重的作用。

己的思想脱口而出，是判断英语学习好坏的关键。
英语是否流利取决于对节奏的正确掌握。英语是按单词和句子的重音来分节奏的。英文诗是练习英语节奏的最好材料之一。例如worsworth著名的“the daffodils”（水仙花）：“i wandered lonely as a cloud/that floats on high oer vales and hills......”（我象
一片白云孤独的游荡，飘越过溪谷和群山......）便是典型的弱强节奏。读熟之后，大声朗诵，一定获益匪浅。
比朗诵英文诗更有效的是唱英文歌。它可帮您练习发音（pronunciation），语调（intonation）和节奏（rhythm），又可让您在愉快的心情下记住单词和句型。所选的英文歌曲最好语言优美，语法正规。可以从童谣开始，再渐渐学唱抒情歌。唱之前先要将歌词朗读几遍再跟着音乐学，唱熟后能背的话就更好了。
读！我认为，最关键要为兴趣而阅读。
寒窗苦读式的方法不但枯燥无味，且效果并不好。如果是为了兴趣甚至“消遣”而读的话，一定会在得到乐趣的同时，无形中取得收获。例如：喜欢爵士乐的人读爵士乐方面的书刊会比看英文教科书效率高得多。同样，喜欢汽车的人看介绍汽车的英文书刊，喜欢烹饪的人看介绍汽车的……那么不仅满足自己爱好，又能提高英语能力，是一举两得。不过如果你没有特别的兴趣，那就去阅读故事，小说，被情节吸引，而促使你阅读下去，就会有一气呵成之感。这可是一种愉快的学习方法。
并且应该精读和泛读并行。在一篇文章中，抓住好的句子重点阅读。
写！
中国人大都比较沉默含蓄，普遍都有喜欢听，不喜欢说，喜欢读，不喜欢写的心理。即使在口语课上也常常是少数几个学生在讲话，多数只是默默的听。这种心理如果不突破，是难以让英语更上一层楼的。读完一篇文章，试着用英文记下要点，有可能的话，写几句对这篇文章的看法。这样练习，就能将被动（passive）转变成主动（active），把输入（input）转换成输出（output）了。
另外，还可以用英语写日记。既然说是日记（diary），最好能够每天都写。英文能否写的通顺还是次要的问题，能够持续的每天用英文记日记（keep a diary in english）才是最重要的。
在当今这种国际化的社会里，用英文写报告，札记，备忘录的机会越来越多，尤其是从
事国际贸易或其他国际事务的人士更需要培养这种能力。
英文写作能力的培养，要靠平时点滴的积累。我们可以把在工作和休闲时阅读到的外国文献，小说或英文报刊杂志的内容作成摘要。尽可能不要抄原文，而要用自己的英文把已理解的内容简要整理出来，然后念给家长，老师，朋友听。这样做可发现摘要的内容是否正确，自己发音是否清晰，是一种可立即见效的练习方式，对思绪的整理和文字的锻炼帮助很大。

英文程度好坏，是看您能否在日常生活中随心所欲的运用英文听，说，读，写这四种技能。
而这四种技能的总根源便是用英文思考的能力。
做到用英文思考不是一蹴可及的事，最重要的养成用英语思考的习惯。从生活中点滴开
始，走路时，排队买票时，等人时都可以把所看，所听和所想的在脑海中用英文表达出来。
这种练习最需注意的，是尽量避免经过中文翻译的程序。把看到，听到，想到的英文直

词汇的记忆是必不可少的，词汇是学好英语的基础，没有了词汇，也就谈不上句子，更谈不上文章，所以记单词对我们就显得极其重要。记忆单词关键有二：
一是持之以恒：每天坚持记忆一定量的词汇，过几天再回头复习一次，这样周期循环，反复记忆，经常使用，就会变短时记忆为长时记忆并牢固掌握。需要注意的是，一旦开始，就要坚持下来，千万不能半途而废，切不可三天打鱼，两天晒网。
二是良好的记忆方法：记忆单词的方法很多，学无定法，但学有良法。掌握针对自己的好的记忆方法，能让学习效果事半功倍。

第二步，记忆力：
记忆力的好也可以帮助学习，但是死记硬背的方式实在是套古老了，也太死板了，再好的兴趣也会被消磨光。所以，可以用一种节省时间，增加兴趣，享受时间的方法。在老师留作业，抄单词或句子的时候，先抄一遍，再根据脑袋里"肯定"的答案在接着继续默写，这样就达到了节省时间着点了。还有在背课文的时候，有些同学们后觉得这些太多了，太难了，简直就是在谋财害命，但老师就是硬要我们被下来，太痛苦了！那么，在这个时候，你可以把被课文当做是在背诗，记歌词，背诗背着背着就顺了，记歌词记着记着就好像是自己在听喜爱的音乐一般，这也有了增加兴趣，享受时间和节省时间了。
第三步，自信：

另外联想法也很有用，当你的词汇量累积到一定程度时，就要学会在学习新的单词时联想到曾学过的与新单词有联系的表达方式，反之亦然。这样不仅能更深刻理解这些有联系的单词的区别。同时也能起到“温故”的作用。
词汇的'应用也是非常重要的，我们可以和学习伙伴用英语交流，自己朗读等。
二、学语法是为了让我们更好地了解英语的逻辑，使学英语达到事半功倍的效果。下面来谈谈语法的学习。
1、练习是学习语法最好的方法，也就是造句，写作，以及最基本的口语句子造句。
2、有人说语法是英语学习中最枯燥的环节，但仔细看看，你会发现同中文有很多相通之处，如句子构成，主谓宾，词的运用，要注意的就是中英文元素排序不同。语法对于分析句子的意思帮助也是非常大的，尤其是超长的句子，有的时候一个句子就有三四行甚至占据整个段落。尝到了甜头，就有了学语法的动力了。
三、英语听力不行，就等于你是英语聋子，生活中最多的还是口语上的交流，你听不懂对方说的话，根本就无法进行交流。所以英语听力也是非常重要的。
1、家长首先要培养孩子听英语的兴趣。可是兴趣要从你喜欢的事物中来。可以通过看英文电影，听英文歌曲，收听英文节目提高英语学习的兴趣时间一长，听力成绩就会大大提高。
四、口语
1、练英语口语首先要解决语音语调的问题，一开始我就是尽量去模仿老师的语音语调，后来可以看英文电影来模仿起来。
2、不要让自己认为讲的不好羞于开口，这是练习英语口语最大的忌讳，一定要鼓足勇气，只有说出来才会发现自己的不足，进而改正并提高。

To sum up, Necessity of lifelong learning is mainly based on the following reasons:

Reading is the easiest skill. It is also the most widely found English language skill amongst Chinese student, Writing is a more active skill than reading. However it is still a little easier than speaking, as there is plenty of time to choose the right words look in the dictionary for help, and make corrections. Listening is the third most important language skill to learn. It is far more difficult to listen and understand spoken English than to read English in a book or in a letter. Speaking English may be the most difficult of the four language skills. It is an active skill, and requires the student to put words together into sentences without much time to prepare, and with no time for correction, yet it is the most exciting skill to have, as it opens up wonderful channels of communication with people of others cultures and countries. But this is just what we lack.
More often than not I found some of the students who get high marks in their exams showed an inability to communicate with people in English. And this enabled me to understand deeper what my first English teacher has always emphasized: listening and speaking keeping ahead; reading and writing following up. I believe this is the rule of learning a language because we learn a certain language to communicate. As we conquered the most difficult parts: listening and speaking, we would easily master the writing and reading skills.
