首先我说一下自己的基本情况和工作业绩：我xx年毕业于xx师专数学系，后分配到xx中学从事数学教学，xx年开始改教初中英语，xx年因身体状况，调入小学从事小学英语教学至今，xx年自考大学本科毕业，xx年被评为中学一级教师。
自工作以来，我一直兢兢业业，勤奋工作，所教科目成绩一直据全镇前列，特别是近几年来从事小学英语教学，所教班级多次获得全镇第一名，个人也多次被评为镇教育先进工作者、优秀教师，区优秀教师，个人年考核优秀等次的荣誉称号，并有多篇论文在市级报纸发表。
下面我谈一下，我竞聘英语教师的几个优势和条件：
1。有良好的师德
我为人处事的原则是：老老实实做人，认认真真工作，开开心心生活。自己一贯注重个人品德素质的培养，努力做到尊重领导，团结同志，工作负责，办事公道，不计较个人得失，对工作对同志有公心，爱心，平常心和宽容心。自从参加工作以来，我首先在师德上严格要求自己，要做一个合格的人民教师！认真学习和领会上级教育主管部门的'文件精神，与时俱进，爱岗敬业，为人师表，热爱学生，尊重学生，争取让每个学生都能享受到最好的教育，都能有不同程度的发

从选择教师这门职业的第一天起，我最大的心愿就是做一名受学生欢迎的好老师，为了这个心愿，我一直在不懈努力着。要求自己做到牢固掌握本学科的基本理论知识。
熟悉相关学科的文化知识，不断更新知识结构，精通业务，精心施教，把握好教学的难点重点，认真探索教学规律，钻研教学艺术，努力形成自己的教学特色。我的教学风格和教学效果普遍受到学生的认可和欢迎。

如果我有幸竞聘成功，能担任三四年级英语教师的话，我将从以下方面开展工作。

From the development of mobile phones, it is easy to tell that, all kind of innovation is based on what it had originally. Innovation is adding something new to or changing something that has been established. Tradition is a ritual, belief, or object passed down within a society, still maintained in the present, with origins in the past. Most, if not all things, incorporate lessons learnedfrom both. 'Innovation and Tradition' represents opposite ends on the spectrum of change. When tradition meets innovation, all you need is to change another mind. You can combine totally different things together, or figure out different usages, in order to get new things.
A company needs to be creative while has a sense to satisfy consumers requirement in this dog-eats-dog environment. Therefore, innovative ability has become a vitally important key to success. 英语的口头表达能力虽然不是我们考试的必备能力，但它却是同学们将来所需要的最重要的，最实用的英语技能。一口流利的英语是每一个英语学习者所梦想达到的理想水平。重视口语能力的训练不仅对未来有重要意义，对提高同学们高中阶段的英语水平也有非常重要的意义。说英语就是运用英语。语言能力和语言知识，同许多其它能力和知识一样，只有通过运用，并且经常运用才会真正地学到手，学到家。英语是一门语言。语言是听出来的，是经过不断模仿后才能说出来的。高中生的英语口语能力要求，除了一般日常交际应答以外，还应该具备能连续表达含五个以上的句子。练就一口流畅的英语口语需要同学们抓住三个机会：一是课堂上老师为同学们提供的开口机会。二是课前演讲或者值日报告的机会。三是早读是个好机会。早读不应该总是停留在背单词、背课文这样的简单劳动中。单词不是用来背诵的。朗读单词的目的是要把单词的发音读准，并且能上口，读起来不勉强，不绕口。课文也不是用来背诵的。熟读课文是为了加深理解，巩固词汇知识和语法知识。既然口语能力那么重要，同学们不妨把背诵或者复述课文当成是口语表达或者演讲的准备呢？换句话说，把课文材料准备得再熟悉不过以后，来一次演讲展示，那且不美哉！真正的高英语水平绝不是看书看出来的，也不是做习题能做出来的，更不是听老师讲课能听出来的。早读期间通过不断模仿，放声吼叫，反复实践，你一定能快速提高自己的口语表达能力。
英语短文阅读的重要性不仅表现在高中英语考试中它的份量最大，而且还表现在英语短文是英语词汇知识和语法知识的载体方面。词汇量的扩大、词汇知识的丰富和句子表达的多样性光靠死记硬背是无法也不可能实现的。扩大词汇量、丰富自己的词汇知识和地道完美的表达自己只有依靠优良的阅读习惯。教材课文是精读材料，需要同学们读熟读透，直至能开口娓娓道来为止。课外阅读又叫泛读。高中英语新课标教材对高中前八个模块的学习有一个要求：课外阅读要完成30万单词的阅读量。也就是说：同学们需要每天有500到700个单词量的阅读。课外阅读也是运用语言的一种必不可少的形式。课外阅读不能停留在完成几道阅读理解试题或者完形填空试题。关键在尽量弄懂文章中的每一句话含义、长难句的结构。留意你还不很熟悉的词汇、词汇知识和语法知识。还要去认真体会不同的英语句子在表达上的精确性。千万不要在一些你还不认识的，拼写怪诞，发音困难的生僻词汇上浪费时间和精力。
阅读能力，除词汇量大小以外，还包含阅读速度、长难句理解、和把握主题大意的能力。要会快速阅读，同学们必须学会一些阅读的技能：如：skimming(跳读)、scanning(扫读)和digesting(研读)。Skimming和scanning就是根据阅读任务在文中查找相关信息。Digesting主要是用来理解长难句、把握主题大意和作者意图以及猜测词义的技术。不仅要研读长难句结构，也还需要研读逻辑关系。
流畅的短文表达能力在很大程度上依赖于你的词汇量、词汇知识和句法知识。它们的积累在于平时的听、说和读的活动。写作表达能力中，你的英语句式的结构思维能力或者英语习惯思维能力会对表达能力有重要影响。这就需要同学们平时养成一个良好习惯：那就是总是试图用英语来表达出你眼睛所看到的，耳朵能听到的，身体能感受到的和你思想能想到的。除此之外，一篇优秀的短文还少不了三个要素：即结构，内容和语言。
一片结构完美的英文短文，尤其是说明文和议论文，往往有一个比较完优美的，诱人深入阅读的开头语。主题句是可从开头语中自然而然过度而来。你所程述的观点，一般都要用事实做论证，或者用具体方式方法来支持。巧妙的结论句往往能使文章锦上添花。
内容需要真实，合乎情理，能让人信服。文中不要有与主题无关的内容。
语言要尽可能是地道的，去汉语化的英语。要经常套用自己在阅读中、在课堂上学来句子结构去表达自己。要敢于尝试用比较复杂的句子结构和比较高级的词汇来使文章进一步美化。
听所读写四大技能并不是各自孤立的，也是相互作用和相互制约的。如果平时，只注重某一项技能的学习和训练，那是不可能成为一位真正的英语强手的。
任何一门学科都需要踏实的学习作风。外语也不例外。学外语的实主要表现在以下几个方面：
一、落实词汇、词汇知识和特殊句式的积累。落实词汇和词汇知识并不是反复背记词汇表中的单词。落实词汇、词汇知识以及特殊句式的最好办法是先探究后运用。一个词汇在经过七到八次在不同时间和不同的语境中运用后，它就是你的了。词汇知识和特殊句式也是一样。写作是运用，造句是运用，阅读，倾听和与他人用英语交流也是运用。借助词典进行造句练习，在造句中运用新学的词汇不失为一种行之有效的简单易行的方式。
二、落实课外阅读。每天坚持花半小时阅读一两篇短文。一要真正读懂。二要留意词汇运用。
三、落实早自习精读。每次有硬指标，死任务。
四、落实课内课外书面作业。简单的完成老师布置的作业量并不是落实。书面作业质的落实必须是在真正懂了、记住了的基础上又快又好的独立的、闭卷式的完成书面作业。对发现的漏洞和缺陷要采取补救措施。
五、落实自主探究的学习能力培养。学习中缺乏自主探究，不善于利用团队合作和与老师沟通是很多高中生在学习中存在的一种普遍想象。老师不是保姆，老师不可能把英语的词汇知识和英语的四大能力烹制成一道道佳肴后，一口一口地喂进学生的口中。老师的探究代替不了学生的探究。学习能力的培养主要是探究能力的培养。学会了探究，你才会在知识的大海中畅游。学会了探究，你才会成为终身学习者。英语学科的探究应该表现在对某一特定词汇在文中、在句中的用法和含义的探究，对长难句结构和含义的探究，对相关知识关联的探究，对作者意图、主题大意的探究，当然也包含对学法的探究。要探究知识，要有工具（词典以及各种手册等）的帮助，更要有团队的合作，还要有老师的帮助。团队合作可以让你取他人之长补自己之短，还可以集思广益，产生思想火花。常与老师沟通是可以使你更容易发现前进的方向，少走弯路。

And so when I moved to New York City after college and got completely sucker-punched in the face by depression, I did the only thing I could think of at the time. I wrote those same kinds of letters that my mother had written me for strangers, and tucked them all throughout the city, dozens and dozens of them. I left them everywhere, in cafes and in libraries, at the U.N., everywhere. I blogged about those letters and the days when they were necessary, and I posed a kind of crazy promise to the Internet: that if you asked me for a hand-written letter, I would write you one, no questions asked. Overnight, my inbox morphed into this harbor of heartbreak -- a single mother in Sacramento, a girl being bullied in rural Kansas, all asking me, a 22-year-old girl who barely even knew her own coffee order, to write them a love letter and give them a reason to wait by the mailbox.
Well, today I fuel a global organization that is fueled by those trips to the mailbox, fueled by the ways in which we can harness social media like never before to write and mail strangers letters when they need them most, but most of all, fueled by crates of mail like this one, my trusty mail crate, filled with the scriptings of ordinary people, strangers writing letters to other strangers not because they're ever going to meet and laugh over a cup of coffee, but because they have found one another by way of letter-writing.
But, you know, the thing that always gets me about these letters is that most of them have been written by people that have never known themselves loved on a piece of paper. They could not tell you about the ink of their own love letters. They're the ones from my generation, the ones of us that have grown up into a world where everything is paperless, and where some of our best conversations have happened upon a screen. We have learned to diary our pain onto Facebook, and we speak swiftly in 140 characters or less.
But what if it's not about efficiency this time? I was on the subway yesterday with this mail crate, which is a conversation starter, let me tell you. If you ever need one, just carry one of these. (Laughter) And a man just stared at me, and he was like, "Well, why don't you use the Internet?" And I thought, "Well, sir, I am not a strategist, nor am I specialist. I am merely a storyteller." 游戏在英语课堂上的重要性都快比得上水之于鱼了，很难想象一堂课上，如果没有了游戏，该怎么继续。不论高年级还是低年级，在游戏中学习都是一种十分有效的学习方式。低年级学生好动又好胜，游戏能让他们在动身体的同时动脑，并且享受成功的喜悦。高年级的课堂相对而言比较乏味，适时的游戏会是绝佳的作料。好的游戏能让一堂沉闷的英语课活跃起来，是学生学习的兴奋的药剂。
一、游戏的安排应讲究一个“适”字，适时、适式、适度。
（一）适时组织游戏
看准时机，针对学生的实际安排合适的游戏形式。
1.让学生从思想上尽快进入英语课堂，游戏导入是个相当快捷、有效的方法。我们可以安排listen and do，listen and point，look and say，flash and say等操作简单，但具有检查性质的游戏。学生在玩游戏的同时，复习了旧知识，情感上也得到了体验。而从这些旧知识的`复习，我们可以自然过渡到新知识的传授，温故知新，以旧带新，一举两得。
2.在复习巩固阶段，最忌讳的是机械操练。游戏能使复习变得生动。比如我们学了一系列水果以后，安排老师拿一个水果，学生说出来的环节，但反复几次之后，学生的积极性就会减弱。这时，我们安排游戏Who is missing？Who is fast？Magic eyes等，学生的积极性就会立刻恢复，一只只小手又会争先恐后地举
起。
3.当学生的脸上闪过“无聊”、“困惑”的痕迹时，游戏可解“燃眉之急”。高年级的学生面临背单词、记单词的难题。如果不讲究方法地死记硬背，不但效果不好，学生的兴趣也会逐渐降低。在这个阶段，如果能帮助他们掌握正确的方法，促使他们主动背单词，就会对他们以后的英语学习有很大的帮助。单词接龙、吊死鬼、寻找共同点等游戏，不仅让学生始终处于积极思考的状态，而且能提高他们课后记单词的兴趣。
（二）适式组织游戏
有些游戏的可用性很强，如copy不走样等游戏，无论什么内容，都能套用。但有些游戏，却不是什么内容都合适的。教师要学会使用最恰当的游戏，如flash and guess这样的游戏仅适合单词教学，而不适合巩固句型。
不同年龄阶段的学生，对游戏的口味也不同，我们要学会投其所好。低年级的学生喜欢趣味性强的，如copy不走样，high voice and low voice能引起他们参与的欲望。而高年级的学生则喜欢探索型的游戏，比如bingo、加减运算对抗赛就很受他们的欢迎。
（三）适度组织游戏
在教学中，我们不能只为让学生放松、玩乐而安排游戏，归根结底，游戏是为教学服务的。在游戏活动之前，我们必须指定相应的规则，没有规则，游戏过程就会很“乱”，有规则才能“活而
有序”。当学生的“玩性”到五、六成的时候，我们的游戏就该结束了。因为如果游戏结束太早，学生才刚进入游戏状态，熟悉游戏规则，就结束游戏，一来扫兴，二来游戏的“运用语言”的目的也没达到。如果游戏结束得太晚，学生就会越来越无聊，下次再玩这类游戏就没有了热情。
二、游戏的组织，还要讲究一个“变”字——以不变应万变。
（一）巧设陷阱
同一个游戏“发口令，做动作”，一般都是教师怎么发，学生怎么做，最多让一个学生发，其他学生做，偶尔做做反口令，分组进行比赛。做多了，学生的好奇心没有了，游戏就变成了机械操练。如果设几个陷阱，就会有“眼睛一眨，老母鸡变鸭”的效果。趣味性的调节就是教师在做动作的时候，可以先慢慢地好像在做“坐下”的动作，眼神一定要是那种坏坏的，然后突然变成“起立”，让学生产生和教师斗下去的欲望。师生成了“敌人”，而游戏就成了“战争”。把动作和语言结合起来，边做动作边说，动作和口令有时一致，有时不一致。在训练学生对所学知识掌握的同时，还训练了学生的反应能力。
（二）变换速度
随着学生对知识的掌握逐渐加深，训练的速度可以逐渐加快，这不但适合学习的规律，还使原本枯燥的操练重新显出生气，学生逐渐淡化的新奇感又被激起。
（三）奖励机制的运用
在教育中，我们能体会到表扬和激励对学生起的作用比批评更大。在老师的激励下，学生的探索精神更易发挥，更容易学会原本以为很难学的东西。我常常采用口头表扬，认为给学生物质奖励会使他们变得功利，但在同事们的感染下，偶尔尝试奖励，也取得了很好的激励效果。我用小五星激励学生，常常搞得自己整个黄昏剪五角星，有时，一节课奖多了，自己还有点心疼，最重要的是用多了学生还不稀罕了。其实我们可以尝试用加分的方法，注意分值有区别，加分要敏感，时时注意给学生以表扬，让学生得到认可。这样一来，不但让自己得到解脱，更使奖励更具可变性。
（四）以人为本
教育的对象是人，所以教育应当以人为本。在游戏中，教师的神态、语态、眼神、动作是十分重要的，教师要用主持人一般的激情，让每个学生都感觉到老师的召唤。我相信教师只有投入情感，学生才会给予相应的回报。

The second story happened at my first year in university. These two stories happened during my growth process, from which I got my understanding of dreams. My classmate's answer let me know a real dream is not just about being a great man, or doing a great job, it's about what you really want to be, and are willing to try every effort to pursue it.
Because what makes a dream valuable is not just about the result, it's also about the process, the process when you are trying, when you are struggling, when you failed and restarted again and again, because of the process, dreams can be meaningful and become your wealth.
